Tsitsi Chiumya

Tsitsi is a multi-award winning South African comedian & writer whose quick wit, charisma and gentle style of comedy has earned him a place as one of South Africa’s most formidable comedians. He’s performed alongside industry greats and was featured prominently on Trevor Noah presents NationWild (as seen on Showmax) and on The Arts Hour on BBC World Service with Nikki Bedi. He also features on VICE’s How To Crew, sharing interesting ways in which comedy has allowed him to open up to people. He has toured and performed in around the world, including shows in Belgium, Germany, Zambia, USA and across Southeast Asia, where he discovered his favourite country: Singapore. As a multipotentialite who never shies away from a challenge, Tsitsi regularly features on South African regional radio station YFM where he gets to share his highly relatable opinions. Following his first one-man show, So Naïve, Tsitsi brings us his second show, Breadwinner, a show about the misadventures of being a newly-minted adult. In this special, he shares his hilariously relatable observations about the process of exploring the misguided zeal for life that comes with growing up and finally feeling ready for all life has to throw at you.

Dillan Oliphant makes for great viewing, his static stage presence makes his unnervingly clever jokes accessible to everyone and not only makes you laugh but think as well. A casual, reserved customer off stage, Dillan’s professional approach to his art, belies his short but full career to date. As the only young comic in the deadpan game, Dillan Oliphant is refreshingly without the many “copy and paste” tags associated with young acts still learning their trade. The command of his style and his approach to his art was rewarded with two accolades; He was named winner of the Newcomer of the Year Award at the Annual SA Comic’s Choice Awards for 2012. The other a much sought after opening spot in South Africa’s best-selling comedy tour of all time, ‘Trevor Noah’s – That’s Racist’_Away from the stage, Dillan has made appearances on television in ‘L.O.L’ – a Multichoice commissioned show and ‘Late Night News with Loyiso Gola’ on e.TV showing he is more than a one-trick pony.
